Our hospice cares for people with life-limiting, progressive and terminal illnesses and the symptoms of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) may be more severe if our patients contract this virus.

It is important therefore that we take all reasonable steps to protect the wellbeing of our patients, as well as those visiting, working and volunteering at the hospice.

With this in mind, we have made the decision to close our patient services from the end of Tuesday 17th March until further notice.

We will continue to support our patients by offering them appropriate telephone support according to their needs and wishes.

Our offices will remain open at present but access to these will be strictly limited to certain staff only.

All volunteers who currently attend the hospice are asked to pause their volunteering duties for the time being and we would like to thank them for their understanding and support.

Our shops will continue to open, subject to the availability of staff and volunteers, but we request that those who wish to attend the shops consider before visiting whether they could be a potential carrier of the Coronavirus and therefore may pose a risk to others.

The situation of Coronavirus is constantly changing and we are each responsible for protecting ourselves, as well as reducing the risk of spreading this virus to others.
