Thank you dinner at South Bucks Hospice

Everyone at South Bucks Hospice would like to say a big thank you to Nigel Quince, co-owner of JDS Catering Equipment Ltd and mason at the Wraysbury Masonic Lodge for hosting a wonderful thank you dinner on Saturday evening to staff who work here at Butterfly House. Nigel was supported by fellow mason Phil Manning and a number of their lovely family members who prepared, created, cooked and served a delicious meal to 85 people on the evening. As you can see from the photos the hospice was buzzing with staff, guests and other fellow masons attending the event.

£1800 was raised on the evening through wonderful raffles prizes and an auction.

Nigel and his suppliers through JDS have been amazing in upgrading our kitchen with everything we could possibly need to be able to function fully, open a café for patients, families, carers and the public to come and enjoy wholesome tasty dishes. The ‘Butterfly Bistro’ was officially opened by Nigel’s friend Derek Cameron on Saturday evening and will open for serving a selection of tasty dishes on Monday 22nd October. Do come and visit and enjoy this wonderful space with us.
